Summary

Daniel, a mystery writer sits in his chair and contemplates about his dreams. The images of time-travel from his mind have fatigued him, sometimes to the point of exhaustion where he cannot tell whether he is awake or asleep. The dreams take him to different places in time, where others might exists in other worlds - other dimensions. As with any dreams, they come to an end as one wakes up, but not for Daniel. His dreams soon prove to be a reality of non-stop voyages into a foreign magnitude. His wife, Rita and best friend, Stan, put any explanations to his abnormal behavior aside until they realize Daniel is not as insane as they had thought. When Daniel disappears the dilemma of finding out what has happened to him becomes a quest for Rita and Stan as they soon take on the dilemma factors that stand in their way.

Excerpt:

Stan took the file from Rita's hand and slowly skimmed down the page. He began to read:

"The subject Daniel Davidson was monitored and appeared in good health as we prepared him for the gateway transporter. Numerous mishaps though caused several electrical surges."

Stan stopped momentarily then continued:

"The lasers were realigned and the cause of the power surged located and fixed. The experiment was then restarted. An immense reaction with the lasers caused another power surge to develop right as the subject neared the send point through the gateway. After the power was shut off it was noticed the subject had disappeared from the capsule. It has been concluded that the test subject was sent through an unknown time portal after the last power surge. After several tests were ran to power on the machine it has been concluded that Project MAT has been closed to convene at a later date. The subject is presumed dead."

Works In Progress:

The second series is entitled "The Journey's Edge" and is in the beginning stages. This novel is a continuation of Daniel's adventures into an unknown time travel reality with his best friend, Stan at his side. It seems like these two adventurers have a lot of interesting challenging experiences to conquer in this series.
